This keeps getting lost in a thread, So thought I would bring it out

I'm reposting this invitation to the GMCMH-EFI Google Group since some
apparently missed it on 26 March. Also, there were some invitations still
pending today when I checked them, then they disappeared for unknow reasons.
I've you've requested membership and not receive notification that I've
approved it, please try again.

I've got a dirty little secret to confess: A while back some of us EFI nuts
became interested in the EBL Flash upgrade available from Dynamic EFI.
Because our discussions of that equipment were addressing arcane technical
details likely to be of little interest to most GMCNet members, we took them
off net. As the participants in the discussions grew, the mailing list
became cumbersome, so I created a Google Group, GMCMH-EFI.

Over the past few months, the group has grown, solely by private invitation,
to about 45 members. Because the group is specifically dedicated to the EFI
topic, we stay pretty much on topic. With some very talented and dedicated
members, the discussions have been VERY productive in helping several of us
to dramatically improve the performance of our EFI. The EBL Flash is still
a major part of the discussions, but most members do not yet have that
enhancement, and other fuel injection systems are now discussed, such as
MegaSquirt.

Because there has never been a public announcement of the group, and our
corporate memory is not perfect, there may still be EFI users out there who
have not heard of the group. And many of you may have an interest in the
subject, whether just passing interest or immediate plans to adopt it. So,
it seems appropriate to make this public announcement.

If you're interested in our discussions, you can view the archives and
current discussions at:

http://groups.google.com/group/gmcmh-efi?lnk=srg&hl=en

<http://groups.google.com/group/gmcmh-efi?lnk=srg&hl=en>You can also request
membership in the group so that you'll receive emails automatically.
However, because of the restricted nature of our topic, I personally must
approve every membership request. So, unless you have EFI, or short term
plans to adopt it, I ask that you merely monitor, not request membership.
As you'll see in the membership instructions, I'll require information
about your GMC, location, and EFI -- that's to ensure that we get as few
disinterested "outsiders" as possible joining the group; membership will NOT
be automatic.

Our intention is not, and never has been to create an "exclusive club",
merely to have a quiet corner in which to pursue this narrow interest.

Ken H.
