This year, I heard of 2 GMCs sliding off of the floor jacks when trying to
center the jack under the slippery ,front beam. *
*Since Manny and I were going into a FRENZY of change of the engine and
tranny, (and I do not have a pit ;>), I decided to make a jack pad for the
floor jack, that would self-align , using the two holes in the front cross
member, and would pull the floor jack as the coach went up.

This is what I made, and I hope some of the GMC entrepreneurs, will
consider selling something like this for safety and ease of use. My guess
is, every GMC owner needs to carry one of these (even if someone else does
your work)
good luck (and I need one more ;>)
