Ron, sounds like you are done. Please be sure to post your coach here before anywhere else. May be someone lurking out there wanting a good deal. About that black tank, can only be one thing if there are no solids in it, had to be the gate. It just did not open completely or you had the rear of the coach raised. A 3 inch drain is no way to go on a GMC. The tanks are just too low to the ground.
Was good having you around. I always enjoyed visiting with you.

I will post it here.. In fact I have had an inquiry from a lurker already.
But it may take a while to sell the coach so I may come see you again like Steve F Does in his SOB.
The GMC Community is like no other I have run across.. I hope to stay in touch with good folks like you and your lovely wife!

Ron, sorry to see ya go. It was nice to meet you that afternoon you picked up the doors. I wish I had more time to spend with you. It was a really really bad week at work.
Please stick around at least and Hope to meet up with you someday at a gathering.
We are planning to go to the balloon fiesta this year, after a few shorter trips closer to home. Coach is in the driveway getting the incremental pain in the ass things done now.
Maybe you'll change your mind. Things that happen to GMC's happen to other rigs. We had a truck camper as a Kid. I remember now all the tanks and pipes freezing on ski trips. My dad was too cheap to pop for a motel so we froze in that thing. A lot. I remember my mom used to make all of our meals before we left so my dad only had to heat them. we turned a corner one day, and the pin was not in the fridge door, and you can tell what happened then. the heater never worked right either since it was new.
I had a pop-up trailer before the coach. I finally sold it to my neighbor to prompt me to start back up on the GMC. I always carried a screw gun and drywall screws with me, and spent many windy nights freezing my ass off when the tent sides leaked. My neighbor carries a screw gun now.
My Father in law has a 31 foot Airstream Excella. Really nice trailer. He has leaks, things coming loose, and a weird smell we cannot find. (I think it is carb cleaner or some solvent spilled in the floor). His headliner looks like all of ours before we all replaced them.
He had a 24 foot Kit with a slide before that. it flexed like a banana over the axles and the slide was a piece of shit.
Bottom line, no matter what you have. There is always something. At least with the GMC, we have each other!

It was really great to meet you as well...
I won't be that easy to shake me off! I harbor no misconceptions about a SOB. I am just tired of fighting with the GMC. to be a really It's going to be a good coach for someone. All the expensive stuff is done. sure there is still lots to do.. I suppose it there always will be. I will ONLY sell it to some one with wide open eyes and the skills to take care of a coach this old!
I was really at a loss when it came to the woodworking. And mine needed a bit of that..
We will run into each other again sometime soon.. You really are doing a great job on yours.
BTW the coach is really running well..
