Well got the alignment. Shop does all of Zeb Frady's work. In and out 30minutes. Kessler Tire Gainesville, GA

On the way home stopped at a red light. Slight up hill climb. Started off okay but when the coach shifted from 1 to 2 engine lost power, vac guage dropped vac. Ease up on throttle and was able to go slowly. On flat no problems shifting. Idle 18" vac.

Any ideas? Where do I start trouble shooting?

My guess is some kind of fuel delivery problem but could be several things.

Dan,
Dropped tanks last Christmas. Clean as a whistle. New hoses and socks.
Could it be something with the trans vac modulator?

First check your vacuum lines, especially the one going to the tranny
modulator.

I dont think the trans will cause engine to bog down. Like Emery said, check vacuum line, and check all of them. If your vacuum dropped you got something going on there.

In re reading your initial post, it certainly could be something in the distributor. Check vacuum lines then pop the cap and make sure the advance is working.

Thanks.
Just took thre coach to have new exhaust pipe installed. Nobody's Garage in Lawrenceville GA. They have a large outdoor lift and have exerience with GMC's. She ran fine for the short 5 mile run to the shop.
I get her back on saturday. I'll fiddle with the vac and distributor then.
Thanks all,
