G'day,
Here's some photos of repairs I made to the holding tank in Double Trouble
when I was at the COOP.

Here's what / how I did it:
1) Remove all old sealant from crack and holding tank.
2) Using Rotozip increase width of crack to 1/8 inch.
3) Cut doublers from donor tank using Rotozip.
4) Rough up area that the doubler will cover with 40 grit paper.
5) Clean roughed up area with acetone, lacquer thinner, or methyl ethyl
keytone.
6) Fill crack in holding tank with 3M-5200.
7) Spread face of doubler that will contact holding tank with a layer of
3M-5200 3/8 inches thick.
8) Press doubler up against holding tank and attach brace to hold the
doubler to the bottom of the holding tank.
9) Make a wedge and force it in between the bolt that holds the brace to the
frame and the doubler to hold the doubler on the back of the holding tank.
10) Wipe excess 3M-5200 from around doubler.
11) Wait 24 hours for 3M-5200 to cure.
