Ken,

Did you leave the gas separator in place and just vent it to the rear of
your coach?

shields, and 2 canisters. All of that crap is now gone except the exhaust
heat shields. My California PO changed the carb before I got it. I got
rid of the canisters and TVS.

Jerry
I feel that it is important to have a working seperator in place, even
if you eliminate the charcoal cannister as you don't want liquid
gasoline dripping under the motorhome.

I actually left the separator and the canisters in place. I just disconnected the vacuum line to the canisters when I was shooting a vacuum problem. I eventually found that the vacuum problem was the OEM cruise control. I never bothered to reconnect it after that.

One other thing I did find with that system was the steel that runs crosswise across the steps was badly rusted internally to the point of being clogged. So the evap system was not working anyway. I tried blowing out the line and was unsuccessful.
