Roadracing motorcycles in the summer months tends to get a little hot, Sometimes throughout the day I run in the shower to cool off the problem is we fill the Black water tank and run out of water before the race weekend is over. Thinking of running the electrical to the rear beside the generator and building in this shower unit. I have seen the power moved before with a retractable reel, But I cannot find those shots again?

You could run a little inflatable kids pool and use it to cool off the dog as well...

Ken Frey has an outdoor setup similar to what you propose. He uses it for
"serious" dish washing when a group gathers. Neat setup.

Price mostly the shower head was only 40 bucks off ebay.

Jay,
On my SOB, I had a couple of shower locations. One was an aluminum "U" to
support a shower curtain which extended out of the engine access compartment
at the rear; that was completely invisible when stowed and I have no photos
of it. The other was an aluminum "U" mounted with marine top pivot brackets
and retaining clips on the R. side of the coach. That's visible just behind
the rear awing arm in this Picasa photo:

If I were adding an outdoor shower to the GMC, and wanted privacy, I'd be
tempted to mount a shower outlet like yours (I've had one on the shelf for
years) inside the reversed spare tire. That way it would be completely
hidden but readily accessible when needed. I'd use quick disconnects
between the outlet and the coach plumbing for spare removal (haven't had
mine off in years). If I wanted privacy, I'd mount a U-bracket like that
above so that it stowed around the periphery of the rear window and swung
down for use (I used small removable chains, with S-hooks on their ends, to
support the U in the horizontal position.)
