Hi, 1976 coach for sale on Copart site TZE266V1025. Current bid is $35.00. Bidding apparently closes in 2 days. Located in San Diego. I wonder if someone on the list once owned it?

That TZE number is incomplete by two digits. There was one with similar
numbers from Fremont CA back in 06.
That ad indicates mechanical issues.

Copart always does that in their online listings, st least every one I have looked at. I have been successful at some locations by calling them. They usually will give the VIN to you over the phone. One location said I had to come in to get it.

Also this one is listed a not drivable with mechanical problems. A telephone call might yield more info on the damage. Sometimes you have to visit and figure it out on your own. The local Coparts here yard is very helpful. If you visit the yard you definitely find out it's issues and the VIN.

Bidding rules and restrictions change state by state. As an example I looked at a vehicle near Buffalo. In state residents could not bid with out a dealer's license. All out of state residents could bid, license or not.

I am not sure about the First "2" in TZE266V1025. Isn't that position supposed to be a "1" (GMC upfitted) or a "3" (Transmode)?

(I could not find the site with the TZE breakdown. Seems it would be good to have on Dave's site.)

ANYWAY....

This coach looks to be to be an EDGEMONTE. ... It looks to have twins in the rear. (TZE would be TZE1...

It IS worth at least $35... Twisted Evil

I wonder how much to ship it to Portland? Between this and my '73 I could make one a good start on a "keeper" coach.

The "2" designates a Twin Bed model completed by GM T&C. GM made the
Edgemonte in 76 only but produced
twin models in PB, EL II etc in 77 &78
