Got one of those, Gene.
got mine from Harbor Freight a couple of years ago, for more money. $10
I carefully cut out the plastic blister pack and replaced the blue lens
with it, cause I wanted as much light as I could get. Using it inside on
its own batteries, so far.

cool
I was very impressed with how well it worked,
I don't like batteries, but it is so automatic, they might just last long
enough
I built a porch light many years ago, for my 26, and it has been excellent,
the module was very expensive and is no longer avaliable

so loooking at this to replace the OEM porch light on the 23

- motion sensor
- auto off
- same size as original porch light
- very bright LED.
now to see if it can be:
- water proof
- modify to run on 12 volts
$7.00

I have had two of these for a couple of years. I use one in my bathroom at home, great when you get up at night. The other is in my suitcase, and is wonderful in motel bathrooms that you are not familiar with. The batteries last forever, no need to convert them to 12 volts. My bathroom one has been on for 2 years now, same batteries.

interesting, I always felt that way about the OEM porch light, and I find I
only use the light to find the door of the GMC in the dark, and locate the
key slot.
I have other lights that come on when the door opens.
I may add a couple of LEDs pointing down
