I have a old bag that the PO used as a spare, it has a lot of small cracks though and I am not sure how good it is, lets see if someone closer to you has one to save on shipping.

You may be better off keeping your old slow leaking bag. Any used bag you buy is also going to leak, its the nature of the beast. If you plan on keeping your coach and keeping the original air suspension system on without the 4-bag upgrades available, it would make sense for you to buy two new bags now before they disappear since Firestone stopped making them. You can still buy new ones from Jim K , I believe. for under $800 for the two. New bags will not leak and should last you 30 yrs if you take care of them.

I was faced with the same decision last month, so instead of spending $800.00 for two bags, I had Jeff Sirum install the 4 bag system for the same money. Really pleased with it.

Wow thats good news. The 4-bagger price came down that much? I bought 2 new bags a couple years ago but if thats the case I may do it. Is that the 4-bag system that keeps the suspension up if one of the tires goes flat or blows?

No, the one you are thinking about is the Q bag system, about twice as much as the 4 bag. However, the bags are the same, I can upgrade to the Q bag later on for about $800.00 more.
I now have the newer bags and I think (perhaps wishfully) the Coach rides better.

One of my airbags had a very slow leak, even with shutoff valves. Took maybe a week to go all the way done. I replaced it with a new one, but it appeared the leak was actually caused by the O ring being half out of place in the fitting between the air bag itself and the mounting stud. So, it's possible you could get out of it for the price of an O ring. My air bags had a lot of stone abrasion on them, so wanted new ones anyway, though.

Craig,
Please share a little of your experience pertaining to replacement of air
bags with me. I can buy a fairly nice looking coach that has both rear air
bags down. I would have to do something before moving it some 30 miles to
my home. I need an estimate of the cost of new air bags, and the estimated
cost of labor. I will greataly appreciate your assistance.
A month ago I asked Mr. ERFisher about this; he sent me complete details on
air bags, with photos, but I accidently deleted the email, and he has not
replied to my request to send it again.

Is it possible the bags are OK but the onboard compressor system is down. If
so you could inflate the bags by adding a schrader valve to each and using a
12V external compressor.

I wouldn't keep my fce around the air bags I knew nothing about while inflating them to 120 psi. If one of those blows, it'd get your attention (by that, of course, I mean serious injury and perhaps death).

Ken is talking about 26 footers.
It all depends on how heavy the coach is OBVIOULSY!
I have small gages on manifolds that have valves in them on Double Trouble
(75 Avion with OEM air bags and Powerlevel system) in the USA. I find that
when I set the valves to Travel the gages read around 90 psi.

Ken you mentioned inflating bags to 120 lbs. On my 78 23 footer I only
inflate the bags to about 60 lbs and my ride height is about right and
handling is good. If I inflate to 90 lbs my rear end is way up in the air
and handling is way off.
