Dear GMCnet community:

We have Michelin LTX M/S (LT 225/75 R16 load range "E") tires on our GMC
motor-home, which came with the purchase. Although the tires are relatively
new and in great shape, they have poor traction starting out on wet pavement
and particularly on a slight incline.

What have other GMC owners found that solves this problem?

Richard,

A) If you change to the Michelin LTX A/T 2 (On-/Off-Road All-Terrain) tire
that has a more aggressive tread you will get a bit better grip but you will
still only have one drive wheel.

B) You can install one of these and wind up with two drive wheels:

That is a somewhat common problem.

Our coaches are also know to get stuck anytime
you are off pavement. Not a jeep.
