Denny, have you tried a thicker phonic block between the carb and
manifold?? Or maybe doubling them??............Terry

No, but with my current setup, it's never a problem anyway.
In fact, I will soon be wiring the fuel pump to go through
the oil pressure switch full time so that the engine will
crank until there is minimal oil pressure before filling the
carb. If the carb bowl is still full, then I don't need to
worry about the oil pressure.

on my coach it takes longer to get fuel to the carb than it does to crank up oil pressure. i like the independent control.

My next question is if you want to use an electric fuel pump why not
two, each with it's own filter, and eliminate the selector valve. With
each tank, filter, and pump connected to a double throw single pole.
Maybe a double throw so the gauge still works. Can't beat
redundancy.<G>...........Terry
