Today I get a call from Good Sam customer service. It seems the shop in Quartzsite has assured them that can replace the engine and traqnsmission in a GMC coach. Just thought yall might want to hear it. I hope I have had the last dealings with Good Sam towing. On second thought, maybe I will call them a couple of times before it runs out. Like, uh let's say, in the middle of Texas, to bring me 5 gallons of gasoline. No, that is not a good thing to say. It just has been a frustrating ordeal. Lots of memories have been made though.
See everyone in Montgomery.
Dan

Dan,

Now that is reassuring news! ;-)

Upon hearing that what did you tell the customer service rep?

I told her I expected them to say that now. All is done and over with. It was a real one sided affair. She is going to call me back about the problem we had in Alabama last year. Seems she was so excited to hear what transpired on the Quartzsite taped phone calls that she forgot to check on that, along with a few other small details. I did not write the letter for any other reason than to let them know why I would not be renewing our membership. The only thing that has changed is they have stirred me up again about the whole deal. Just very poor help that they get when they pay minimum wage to those telephone people.
Oh well, thanks for asking Rob.

Dan, just to clarify, what do you have for emergency road service? I know that Progressive paid your towing bill but who will you call when you break down? Of course, I hope that you never break down again, but reality says...
