I like this laptop holder but don't know how it was made and don't know who the maker is - didn't answer email request. http://www.gmcmhphotos.com/photos/showphoto.php?photo=16975&cat=4472
If anyone knows about this I would appreciate info.

Yep, and I own it now. I will meet you somewhere sometime and sell it to you. Won't work in my coach as I am using a glass engine cover. Tried to mount it other places just can't make it work for me. Steve sold it to me a couple years back. Made from pipe. I just let Teri do my secretarial work on the internet now while we travel. She can also now use Streets and Trips.

I think the key is shown in this photo:

They reference a "union at the base". This makes me think it is made from iron pipe and fittings covered with convoluted PVC tube. The flanges sure look like cast iron pipe flanges.

I will see you in Montgomery. We are leaving on Sunday but taking our time since we have to hurry back after the rally. Jim K says that he is leaving on Saturday and meeting you on Monday morning? That is some long and fast driving.

If that thing is as nice as it seems I would like to own it - can you take it to Montgomery?

I will have to get you to explain how you did it. I will see you in Texas and maybe talk with you sooner.

Armand,
Just buy Dan's. You can't buy the parts for what he's selling it
for. One nice feature is that it has no limitations on modifications.
Parts are as near as your nearest hardware store.
