Seems to me like I saw a coach that had aluminum wheels with less offset than standard. I'm thinking that if I put a pair of those on the front I wouldn't have to put in spacers. Is there such a thing?

You'll find when you have a tire problem you'll see why we do it the other way.
Majority of the GMC people are practical and discuss things before
they do things.

I found this in my Wheels folder:

There is a coach on the photo site that has Dodge Truck wheels, 16" X 8" off
of a 1999 or so vintage truck:
