Whoever posted the "Wild Texas Boar" pictures was perpetuating a hoax. Go to: www.naturetours.com.tr/iyilers/iyilers.htm to see the Nature Tours Turkey web site advertising their hunts. THIS TYPE OF POSTING HAS NO BUSINESS ON THIS SITE.

Stephen, for your information I did not try to perpetuate a Hoax.
I recieved the e-mail showing this thing and believed it as I personally have seen 800 Lb. wild boars killed here in Texas. I'm not the sharpest pencin in the group but then I don't go around jumping to conclusions about another persons intentions nor do I try to make up the rules as to what is posted on this site. So chill out a little and have a great day.By the way, It did not take Russ long to discover the facts. Here is some of the text from the e-mail:
Emailed photos of a gigantic, 1,800-pound wild boar allegedly shot and killed in Conroe, Texas by a radiology technician.
Email example contributed by Lorilee C., March 19, 2009:
Over 1800 lb. wild boar shot and killed in Conroe, Texas near the County Airport, East of I-45 and near the community of Cut and Shoot. Killed by a medical Radiology worker...What would you do if this beast was coming at you? Run for dear life? Climb a tree? or simply get run over?
