I do not usually shop at NAPA for many reasons but I need a new vacuum actuator for the front wheel drive on my Blazer. I checked Autozone and they wanted 49.99. I thought that was a little high so it tried NAPA and the price was 64.99. I thought it was interesting that they made me select a store before they would give me a price. So I went back and selected another store and the price was 54.99. Upon selecting a 3rd store it was 61.99. Finally I selected "shop on line" and the price was 54.99.

I only mention this in case you are looking for parts from them. For inexpensive parts it is probably not worth your time or driving distance to shop multiple stores on line but for more expensive ones you might want to price multiple NAPA stores. It looks like each store sets it's own prices.

Their web site now sucks after they made that change. Forcing you to select a store makes it unusable in my opinion. There are other websites that have the store select feature but you can still look an item up to see it in stock. So I never use the Napa website anymore. I just call them. And yes I also see different prices at different Napa stores. The fact that they maintain individual pricing might mean that the price lookups would have to have a data entry for any given location.

I quit using them a few years back due to their high prices, return policies, and warranty policies. There was only one store left in the three counties around me. I saw an advertisement that said a new store just opened up in my county. There were none here at all before. That is how I happened to look for the price at that new store and found out it was lower.

I never realized they changed their prices from store to store in the same area. It would not have made much difference here because there was only one store available. Now if I choose to use them at least I know to check between the two available locations in these two counties.
