My furnace motor would run but no fire. Removed furnace
and put on my work bench, hooked up propane & 12 volts.
It worked perfect, I though I had a bad ground. Reinsalled
the furance & again no fire. Any ideas.

Mike, are you sure you are getting gas to it when it is in the coach?

I had the same problem. It turned out to be a high resistance in the thermostat. Try shorting the thermostat wires together at the furnace. If it fires off, replace the thermostat.

I had a similar problem and cleaning the points in the thermostat solved it.

Hmmm, sure sounds like no gas if it works on the bench. Do the shorting of the therm wires as mentioned above. My therm wires were broke somewhere so we ran a new line from therm to furnace and it works great. Had Miguel giving me pointers or I would not have figured it out. I even took the darn thing out. But, it works now.
Hope you get it figured out before next winter.

Great, glad to hear it. No fun on a chilli night with no heat. The nights are really not bad, in a double bed, it is that early morning rise.

Oh yea, I was up at 830 this morning. Got some parts from Jim to replace. He sent me a speedo gear to match my larger tires, among other things.
I wish you would jump out and go with us across Tx. to the convention. We could put Jim in the middle.
Glad Mike got his furnace working. I just used mine while I showered.

How could you possibly know if it works if it's 74???

Come up to Minnesota and we'll test it out. I had my furnace running a couple of days ago, it was about 5 degrees out...

Yes I'm jealous

It ain't 74 in the mornings when I get up. I had it on this morning again while I showered. Gets pretty nippy in here over night. When the sun sets in Az, it can get cold, especially at 3600 feet.
Here is the funny part, I should not tell on myself, but what the heck. I ran the wires back as far as the electrical box compartment and that is as far as I got, so far. So, I put the thermostat on the wires and have it working. I am thinking maybe Teri will drill a couple of holes in the bedroom wall this afternoon and finish up my install. It needs to be in our bedroom.
