Ken,

I specifically picked the AT tread for better off road traction and so far
no traction problems. Neither Helen nor I can hear them over the wind noise
at highway speeds Double Trouble.

As mentioned I've got about 8,000 miles on them and they still look like
brand new. I rotate them at the end of each season. Fronts go to the rear,
rear go to the middle, middle go to the front.

Thanks for posting the Tire Rack search, much better than the list I
provided!

CAUTION: If you decide to order a set of these MAKE SURE you order the RIGHT
LOAD RANGE! They sell the KL 78 and KL 51 in both the D and E load range.
The E range costs a bit more than the D range. This has already happened to
someone on the GMCnet; they ordered the wrong ones but was able to change
his order.

That brings up a question; do "we" think that Kuhmo really makes two
different tires or it's the same tire (E load range) "de-rated" so people
who don't understand the Load Range system and insist on load range "D" will
buy them?

I do not know. I looked up the specs and they both weight 38 pounds each. Obviously they had to be made in different runs because the outside letter molding is different (D vs E). They are only $6.00 difference in price so why not just buy the the Es and be done with it.

One of these days I'll have to kick the coach into neutral at 60 and ask Laurie if she still can hear them. She may not be hearing the tires. I know I can not hear them. Some of the reviewers say they are the quietest AT tires that they have ever used.
