Chris,

Now you've got me worried!

Were the ones that had belt separation Kumho Road Venture AT KL78 LT225/75R
16/E1 tires?

I also have them only mine are 2 years older that Rob's. They were highly rated by users in the Tire Rack feedback from customers. They were the highest rated tire in our size. The KL78 had great traction. Yes, they are soft but who wears out a motorhome tire. I'll run the 10 years, which is the Michelin recommendation, and if they wear out sooner, which I doubt, then I'll replace them.

The KL78 is an off-on road tire. When I ask Lauire says they whine slightly at 65. So if you are getting Kuhmos and you want absolute quiet, you might want to look at their all season KL51 instead instead of the KL78. My neighbor has the KL51s on his delivery trucks. One has 80,000 on them so far.

At 1/2 the price of Michelin you can not go wrong with Kuhmo KL78s or KL51s. I just checked and the Obamatire tax has kicked in on them yet but......
