HI:

Need some guidance / help.

Factory cruise control. How tight should be the linkage be that
runs to the carb ?

Still can't get mine to work. Driving me crazy.

Be sure o adjust it with the choke fast idle cam off. Set it to where
it is about 1' up an down at mid way. If it is too loose, it will not
function on hills.

The pull chain from the bellows to the throttle linkage need to be slightly loose when the choke is not holding the linkage in fast idle. If you get it too tight you will have idle problems.

If it does not work at all it could be any number of problems. One common electrical problem I have found is a bad ground where it mounts to the coach frame. As a test you might try disconnecting that ground and running that wire direct to a bolt on the back of the engine. Do not use a valve cover bolt.

Are you sure that the vacuum hoses are connected correctly?
