Clearly,
Someone has done a ton of work on this coach, and it looks quality.
I think the reason it has been for sale for so long, is it is only
good for one thing. Probably the one thing this aging group of owners
don't do a heck of a lot of.
It needs a bed. It needs a biffy and everything that goes with it.
It needs basic cooking and food storage accomodations. Without this
stuff, what good is the thing?

This is the party bus that keeps selling on ebay and then never leaves the lot. I drive by it every day. It has moved from the dirt lot back to the main lot this week.

Looks great from 50 ft away. all the bodywork is cracking where the original windows used to be. the new nice flush windows leak.
the Mac Dash is nice, but some of the gauges don't work.
the onan is a peice of crap and has been fixed a lot.
The side molding is falling off.
it has fuel injection, but doesn't drive very well.

I couldn't get the airbags to ride level.
the best mod is the hidden door hinges. I think they used ones from a Hearse.

I offered them 3,500 cash last year because I wanted it for parts, now that I have sourced a lot of what I need, It is no longer cost effective for me to buy it, even for $2K.

It's a nice parts coach at best.

I gotta bring you along next time I look at a coach Chris. Although a
bit reserved in your comments, you somehow manage to tactfully cover
all the issues that concern us.
BTW, I am looking for my replacement as GMCWS Tech VP. You
certaintly sound like the guy. Let's talk!

Hmmm... I need a reason to go down to check out Sierra Vista when I finally get my coach running. A meeting, that's it!
LOL.

Regarding the party bus, they really meant well, and the story I got was they spent $75K and it didn't turn out how the owner wanted it. They did a lot of nice upgrades, and sadly, if they had left it as a motorhome, didn't play with the windows like they did, it would really be a nice coach... with a scary mouth for a grill. Some of the work is nicely done. Now, If I could just graft that door and it's hinges on to my coach...

Amen to that. Steve can talk forever but he is worth listening to while he feeds you the best. I know from experience. He knows his buisness.

OK, I'll pencil you in. Manny sent my shaft monday, so I should have it this week. My son is visiting next week, so not sure what we are doing.

Update on the green monster, it appears to be in the customer delivery area of the lot.
