I need a VW GTI 16 valve engine from 1997,1998 or 1999.
The closer to Houston, the better, but if you find a real good one in your area that will work also.

The toad is an 81 VW Pick-Up, the gas version, and the PO messed up the timing belt or broke it, whatever, so I want the 123hp GTI engine to replace the one in it now.

My last VW PU was a diesel and I put the Jetta turbo diesel engine and 5 speed in it. Towed great on all 4 wheels too. Put a camper shell on it and you never need a roof pod on your GMC. Just throw everything in the pick up bed.

See me in Montgomery if you want to know more about using the VW PU as your toad vehicle.  I think they are excellent for that purpose.............Thx, Michael 713-373-7775    GEMRECS
