Has anyone bothered rigging up a Cylinder Head Temp gauge for their Onan as a means of monitoring it's health?

Do you think I need thermocouple wire the whole length from the genset compartment to the dash?

Randy, Yeah you do need matching wire other wise you get error from dissimilar metal junctions. In effect you would have a series of thermocouples.
