Rick,
Last week there was a discussion about installing an Onan Emeral 4000
watt unit in a 23 Foot GMC. You asked for pictures. I'm home and you
can now see pictures on the below site.

Charles, thanks. Looks like you installed it sideways on slides to
make it serviceable. Did you have to deepen the compartiment? I'm not
sure my compartment is deep enough to take one of these sideways.

It has been over 20 years since I installed that unit.
I don't remember what all I did to install it. Would measurements of the depth help?

Yes. These units do come up for sale on the used market from time to
time at fairly good prices, and what it takes to make them work should
be something in the "known" category. 230 owners don't have a lot of
options. But there is no hurry.
