Woooo, It got a little rough here just before sunset on Thursday. The wind gusts were up to 60 mph here where Teri and I are parked. Just as it was getting bad this white Jeep came sliding up to our door and a fella bailed out. I thought it must be a drunk looking for cover. No, it was Doug Norton. I got our door open and he fell inside. I wondered where Irene was. Doug had forgotten her outside so Teri and I got her in the coach. So glad they came, we needed them to hold the coach in place as we watched all of the ham radio antennas break over in the wind.
The sun came out just before it was to set behind the mountains.
After dark I tried to make it up to Rice Ranch, no way, water was over 95. So, we are heading to town this morning to see what bargains might be left. Sun is out and the solar is charging.
We hope everyone survived.

Dan,
Glad to hear that you are OK there, I was very concerned for you two, and of course the others in the area. Here in the South East Phx metro mess it was very windy and a lot of rain. All the park water recharge basins are full to the brim, and it is still raining lightly. Many roads must be closed in this area, as the traffic on the road in front of the park is almost steady, where normally it is very light. This must be one way around the closures.
Stay put and regroup and dry out. I am glad you could offer help to others.

Gary, our fone number is 573-421-5165
Hollar at us if you need anything or yall have a get together tonite. We just got back from town. Traffic was too heavy to park anywhere. I hope to get to the Jetsetter gathering sometime this evening, when the traffic dies. Doug went to Tucson and is coming back Monday. We saw you as we came by in the car, just no parking place.
