Great deal with DVD/CD reader, wireless mouse, wi-fi etc.
$279.99
They will likely sell out soon.

I bought my wife, Marilyn an Acer Aspire One for her birthday for that same price. She now takes it on her business trips, instead of the over sized and over weight Dell her employer issues. I was able to talk to her on SKYPE (plug) while she was in Singapore for free. Great connection and a good little laptop. Works very well on my WiFi network and on every WiFi network that we have tried.
Be sure and get the USB DVD drive, or you will be hard pressed to add software to it. DVD drive reduces the hassle factor.

Tom,
That one Woot.com is selling COMES WITH a CD/DVD reader/burner
along with a number of goodies in the "accessory kit".
You can also upgrade the RAM if you want to load Windows 7.
