This is pretty cool. The vehicle that carries the rocket car has an all Toro front wheel drive system with TWIN front axles.

Thanks

Gary,

I did a Google search for this and found a group of pictures as I wanted to
see if there was any info on the front end. I found the following:

e-boss-rocket-truck/

If you click on the first picture in the Gallery a page opens up with heaps
more pictures.

Pictures #13 and #16 show the engine compartment.

I reckon only one set of front wheels are connected to the final drive the
second set only steer. From the pictures I'd guess it was the rear set that
are connected to the final drive.

I'll bet they punched out the caps on the front of the forward set's A-Frame
torsion bar hex's and ran the torsion bars forward; hence the overhanging
drivers compartment. The torsion bars for the rear set went towards the
back.

I was surprised to find that one of the owners is an Aussie!

The rocket car is a fake. Nothing inside.
That thing belongs to Eric Zauzner.. saw it at his open house last month. Pretty hokey up close..
