Anyone replaced the bearing on the RH intermediate shaft? Looks like i need to make a jig to get this thing on the press to pop the bearing apart.

Reason I need to do this:

The 3.21 FD has a different shaft, we all know that, and where my flanges are compatible with the CV joints, the intermediate shaft bracket has a different hole pattern than the original one. To further complicate matters, the OD of the bearing in this lovely thing is smaller than the original, looks to be 2.5" where the orig is 3" (I have not used a caliper on it yet).

So, I need to take both of them apart, then source a bearing that has the ID of the 3.21 shaft and the OD of the 3.07 shaft's bracket housing.

Fun huh?

I didn't come across this in my research. I think I will add this info to the FAQ on B-dub's site when I get all the sizes nailed down. Might be good to put on the ratio chart showing all the combinations of Final Drives and Chain Ratios.
