I'm answering Ken Burton's question about the oil pan in a new thread.

I was able to pull the pan without pulling the front motor mount, but I did have to pull the steering bar off instead. It was easier to get to, plus I had the hoist on the rear of the engine already, so I just cranked her up a bit in the back, and with the flexplate off, I was able to clear the bearing caps by pulling the pan rearward, then tilting downward in the rear.

Assembly was a reverse, had to tap the pan forward after it was level with the block.

Two days and no leaks, but I haven't cranked her up yet either. Had a little non related glitch that will delay that a few days.

Later I'll publish some Do's and Dont's based on my transmission pulling experience this last week. I'd bet I could shave half the time and aggravation off next time.

John Ruff came over and was a big help. Two crazy people can figure this crap out!
