While not a direct result of Nylander's video (I have had this on the list for a while), we are planning to do a Blue Ridge Parkway tour in the spring. Our current plan has there at the end of March. We are planning to start at the south (Cherokee) end.

The AAA guides and maps of the area have been ordered up, but am now trying to find a good BRP specific guide book. I have found more than a few in searches, but as we learned with the RT66 tour, they are not all equal.

Can somebody that has experience with a guide (I did not say a good experience) please offer his own opinions about what books might be available?

And, is Rt441 from Gatlinburg south going to be a serious issue for a 23 with 3.07 and no toad?

Thanks

Matt
