If you want to increase efficiency in the GMC dash A/C, think about changing to a modern condenser(that part in front of the radiator).

"HFC-134a also has a diffferent pressure/temperature curve so that within the high pressure side of the system there will be more pressure at a given temperature. To keep the pressures down to acceptable levels you must get rid of more heat. In the end this means larger or more efficient condensers."
Vintage Air Catalog #34 p.11

One of my customers had one made last year using the GMC end brackets to mount in the original location. While I have a good photo of it, I cannot add it here as it is 22Kb and this only allows 1Kb in size.

Someone tell me how/where to put the photo and I will post it.
Thx, Michael at GEMRECS

HAVE A GREAT GMC MOTORHOME YEAR EVERYONE!
