Happy New Year all,

After seeing the 'calendar' thread to Jim K on this site today, I thought I'd share an idea with everyone. At our "Ford Employee Car Show" this year, I brought the GMC. All participants were given an 11" X 17" laminated calendar with their vehicle's picture on it. I've attached a link to a picture I took of it.

Anyway, I thought some GMC clubs may want to create something like this for their members. After a general form is created to fit on an 11" X 17" sheet, a digital picture could simply be submitted and placed on the form. Additional copies that I've bought were only $5, so I've placed them in the garage, at the office, and in the warehouse.

How about...a calender with 12 GMC's on it. One for each month.
Sell them here and the profit goes to the owner of this forum.

Thanks Rob. We really enjoy our GMCs. My Dad has had his since 1978 (I was 6 yrs old!). We grew up camping in his '73 CanyonLands and he purchased the '77 for me and my siblings to use with our families on trips now.

Thanks again and happy camping!

Yeah Gene, in hindsight, both are probably not necessary. We planned on one in the rear originally, but the monster sized A/C wouldn't fit back there at the original vent unless we moved the pod position.

I tried to steer my Dad towards smaller units (like Coleman's), but he liked how the height of these units matched the pod height.....His money, so he won!

Since I print a 15 month scheduling calendar each January, including all the
events we already know about, including recurring things like birthdays, I
wouldn't be a customer for a calendar. For my part a "support your local
web site" calendar sale would not be a good deal -- I'd rather none of what
I sent be wasted on printing.

JMHO,

Ken H.

Now that one I can fully appreciate. And look at the size of those pairs on
some of them!

That is the one John R. sent to me.

He sent it as a file rather than a link. I knew if I posted it as a file only forum users could see it. So I did not post it because I knew all of the emailers would miss it.

Thanks for posting the link.

Ray,
I'm glad you listed it so I could start looking. Took me less than a
second to decide it was too good for me.
Thank you,
