I landed at rest area just east of Crossville, Tenn. last night about 8pm e.s.t. I called my friend this morning about 8 and he guided me in and we had breakfast. I am ensconced in a nice little RV park called Spring Lake RV Resort here in Crossville. I will probably just stay the day and part of tomorrow then leave before noon for points south via US 27. Americus looks like a pretty fair run from here so I may not make it until Monday. With the Holiday week, I'm hoping traffic around Atlanta will not be too bad. However, looking at the map, it appears I can stay on 27 all the way South of Columbus, avoiding Atlanta, then go east on 280 right into Americus. How's that sound Ken?
Dave, I probably won't be able to get down your way until after the first of the year.
