Are all the rear bumper sections the same?

I have a left rear section that is flaking off the chrome. My right side
is pretty good. I noticed a coach here in town that some homeless people
live in and it has a pretty good left section and a trashed right side.
My plan is to offer the guy a couple of bucks to switch them. Don't want
to spend the $$$ to re-plate mine right now... will do that when I re-paint.

Is there a difference between years?

Thanks!

They are mirror images and AFIK they are all the same. I bought one side
from Michael Bozardt in Houston for $75.00 about a year ago.

Re-chromed halves go for around $385 (exchange) from Jim K.

I have a 73,75 and 78 model and all bumpers are the same but the 78 has different mounts because it no longer runs 5 mile an hour bumpers,

Watch out for holes drilled on the bottom where you do not see it till
you pull it off.
All the years are the same.
Lot of the time we find that the square hole on the bumper will round
out when you try backing off the bolts. We take an impact and over
torqu the bolt and break them.
We supply the SS bolt kit which comes with all the parts to replace.
