'Just bought Pennzoil "Platinum Full Synthetic" SAE5W30, 5
qt. jug for $19 at Wal-Mart. 'Did not buy for GMCMh engine.
I use syn lube only in equipment designed around syn lube
properties and/or with warranties requiring it. This lube
meets/exceeds reqm'ts. of manufacturers who specify syn lube
for their products, including GM's 4718M and comparable
Daimler/MB spec.
'First time I have seen any brand of this stuff at less than
$4/qt. - but haven't been looking until now. For those
owners using it in "old technology" engines, SAE15W40 was
also available - same price. Advise any lower price you may
have found - and brand/spec.
