I know we all occasionally have a problem with a web site, and wonder if it is really up or not. I found this site which somehow pings the questionable one to see if it is your problem or something else. It might be useful when the net goes down, or the forum, or any link anyone else posts here. It is self explaining when you call it up. Of course if you can't get it to come up, you really have a problem...lol.
