A while back it was mentioned that seats out of a Honda Odyssey work well in the front of a GMC and that they got them from a van conversion company in Phoenix. We tried to find the company, but came up empty. Found a van conversion company that did Hondas, but they said they "threw away" all the seats. Does anybody have a clue as to where we could pick up a pair of these seats?
Thanks,
Gary Casey

Gary,
Sited on ebay the honda seats selling around $200 a pair +freight at $145
I believe these are the seats that are used in our GMC's they are the second
row.
I plan to buy a pair but the logistics of shipping becomes an issue, I need
a supplier in Seattle.

Gary, here is a copy of a post I made several months ago...HTH

I bought a set of Odyssey seats from a handicapped conversion van retro company.

The name of the company that has the seats is Rollx Vans located in Savage,
Minnesota. There website address is http://www.rollxvans.com/Index.aspx .
Their phone number is 1-800-956-6668. Ask for Bill Walker or email him at
ebay@rollxvans.com.

Paid $200/ set. Nice people to deal with. When I stopped there, they had several pallets of seats from every imaginable brand of van. Their factory is at least a block long and I saw probably 30 vans in various stages of conversion. If they don't have the color you want, he told me to let him know what you want and it is likely he would have them sometime in a couple of months.

The company is Vantage, but they don't sell them or toss them, however there are about three people in Phoenix who "get" them from Vantage. Probably a loading dock deal with an employee.

Andy and Danell are one couple who most of us got our seats from.

I have one grey pair left over that I am not going to use. I will match the $200 plus shipping. I have to pack them in such a way the shrouds don't break, as some did when they were shipped by others, or $175 pick-up. They are in Mesa.

There is a guy that sells them at park n swap for $400 a set now.

Larry-
I just purchased four Gray leather Honda seats from Bill this week. He
even gave me a slight discount since I was purchasing four identical
seats and shipped UPS to a commercial address.
He was much more responsive than the AZ people and shipping is only $ 40
per seat.

I got several sets from this guy--Honda or Chrysler--same seats. This guy will get them in cloth or leather. BTW--all of the current seats have side airbags instead of the side cup holders.
