We have a 76 GMC with (I think) a ZD Awning -

Moby is stored inside 50 weeks out of the year (but we just received it last year)

There is a difficulty retracting the awning - I surmise - due to corrosion -

Is there a good way to clean up that mechanism & lub/protect it ?
