Frank, I don't know what your issues are. But, I needed to replace both tanks. So..... after seeing how poorly they are mounted, how small they actually are on my 78, and all the plumbing, I just replaced both of them with a standard GMC tank. Now I don't have all those pipes hanging down to get drug off. Very Happy

We install tanks on the Royal with shut off valves for each tank.
In the real rv market, they have 2 seperat tanks. One for black and
other for gray water.
You flush the black first , then the gray . Gray will generally flush
the smelly part.
GM thought they knew more than the RV people.

The "real" RV market? Isn't the GMC real? Jim, I think those gas fumes in your office are starting to affect your thinking. Need to move that box of old Onan carbs out to the shop! Laughing

I think most if not all truck campers had only one tank. Ours did. Guess it wasn't a "real" RV. Rolling Eyes

Your correct in what you said, but I was refering to a class A coach
not a camper.
I will agree that the fumes have gotten to me, but I will need to look
into this more .
