Last night (Nov 24), during the showing of "NCIS: Los Angeles" there was a chase scene (looked like Venice Beach). When the bad guy's escape was cut off by an Old Winnabago Brave pulling in front of his motorcycle. In the same scene, there is a GMC (pale yellow) parked next to the spot that the Winnie pulled out of.
Wonder who's it was? Sure looked cared for.

Dang!

You guys got good eyes! I watched that last night and remember the scene with the Winnibago, and didn't see the GMC!

In the first or second show there was one shown behind
a silver travel trailer(airstream?). The passenger side
headlight area top to bottom. My wife has caught both
of these. We were not sure this last one was a GMC
as it was just a blip.

Hey Gene

How did you capture that screen shot of the GMC at the beach?

I know there are sevral ways to do it. But I was wondering what your setup is?
Thanks

Tom,

Just pulled last night's show on my laptop and what I see is a white over eggshell(ish) GMC with white headlight trim and a front black bumper. Not sure, but the GMC on the previous beach episode had I think the same paint and white headlight trim.

Same GMC?

Just looked at gene's picture and I'm sure it's the same GMC. Same paint, same white headlight trim and same black bumper.

just played it on Hulu, (someone gave me the time) then when the time was
right I hit "ctrl- print screen" which saved it to the clip board, I then
pasted it into photo shop and saved it as a jpg.

simple

now if someone will do the latest one, I can get a copy of that also ;>)

I have the last NCIS LA recorded with the scene of the Winnie pulling out from behind a GMC (same white light surround and black bumper as your shot). Nice clear shot of the GMC from drivers side front to behind drivers window.

But I can't save a picture. When I paste it into paint or photo editor it looks fine and I can trim it or whatever. But when I save it or close the movie, all I get is a black screen. Haven't yet figured out what is going on.

Check what format you are saving it in.
If possible try to save in TIFF ( will not degrade when saved ) or JPEG ( Degrades each time saved ).
It may be trying to save in BMP, as I recall, a very large file to save.

Its amazing that that those two motorhomes are from the same era. Those old Winnebago Brave's and such were so fugly. The GMC is timeless...
