I had seen this coach, but just in passing several times.

I asked a friend to take a look and he sent the following info.

Does this sound as if it would be worth looking at? It's about
a 3-hour drive from home, and we are there on a fairly regular
basis. I see from a list I obtained earlier that a Painted Desert
was available in 73 and 74 in both 23' and 26' versions.

Thanks in advance for any info.

Where is it, Mac? We'll be out moving westward from Huntsville tomorrow.
We could take a look at it for you... We have a '73 Painted Desert. Paid
lots more in 2005. Are not looking to buy another or replace the 26' we
have. Reply direct to us if you'd like us to check it out--if it's near
where we are.

Hi, Sandra and Bob.

Well, that's not necessary, although I definitely appreciate the offer.

I'm going to call the owner tonight to get some more info. The coach

has been sitting at a parking lot for probably over a month now and I

just thought to email a boating and RV buddy in that town and he

went by and got the info from whatever was posted on the coach.

I had never stopped to specifically look at it. It is in NE Oklahoma

near where we keep our cabin cruiser, and we might even take a

run up there Friday afternoon or evening after we take in some

"Black Friday" events at our local Harley dealers.

I also received a note from a local who is less than 10 miles away

from me and he invited me to look at his coach.

Looks as if we may be making new friends soon!

Cheers and have a great Thanksgiving!

By the way, from which "Huntsville" are you departing and where

are you headed?
