I'm wondering... I seem to remember that there is a guage that would be perfect for finding out if there is a restriction created by the fan already out there. Large commercial A/C units use a differential pressure guage to tell when the air filters are restricted by measuring the difference in air pressure on both sides of the filter. It will measure small differences caused by restriction. If one could be found, it seems like the perfect tool for the job. Something like this: http://differentialpressure.com/dp405.html Any ideas?

If you own one and don't mind it being on extended loan until I get
around to conducting the test, send it to me.
