My apoligies up front but, this seems to be a pretty "aviation centric" group, so I'll just throw this announcement out there and folks can contact me off-line.

I have an original BD-5 kit I need to make go away. The front 2/3's is built, as is the tail fin and rudder. Canopy is there, all the plans and supplements and a pile of hardware and some materials. I don't have a place to keep it any longer. Contact me directly if theres any interest.

Finish it and make it into a kid's ride to take to birthday parties, schools, etc. and use the funds to build another airplane. It's too bad it ran into engine issues. I wonder if there's something out there today that would work.

The only avaition centric thing about me is I'm usually sitting about 2 or 3 rows behind Randy, with a little door in between... Laughing

I was thinking fo finishing the fuselage, slicing it in half and mounting it on the shop wall. Then sell the half to a TGI Fridays. Twisted Evil So many projects... so little time

Jeff,

The new issue of Circle Track came today. Had an article about a
midget engine
based on the new ecotec Chevy that looks like a good motor for
the BD.
