My 1st boat was a 38' 1927 Wheeler -very high upkeep time-wise. Living in
NY
there was a limited work season and an even more limited use season (I
was still
working.) My partner in the boat was also an IBMr but travelled a lot
less tha I.

It seemed I did all the work to get the the old Gal ready for the water
and he got
all the use of it. It nevered amounted to more than 'grumbling' about it
but I never
partnered again in anything. Just me. My daughter had a partner in a King
Air but
there was no sweat equity involved so their arrangement worked out just
fine.

Success depends on personalities, attitudes, etc. You could always do it
on a 90 day trial
to see if it works.
