I am considering looking for someone in AZ who would be interested in buying 1/2 of my GMC so that it could get a little more useage and to help with some of the expenses of upgrades and maintenance. Of course it would have to be structured properly to limit liability and be able to exit the agreement if it turned sour, but I wondered if anyone has been involved in such an agreement and how well it worked, as well as some advice for when it didn't work out so well.

Has anyone started something akin to a "flying club" with a GMC?

Randy,
I never works! No one ever takes care of your stuff the way you do.
It's a lot like sharing a toothbrush, you never get it back in the
same condition as you left it.

Years ago I had a perfect arrangement. Being in Edmonton, AB, Canada,
my landlord wintered in California. So during the winter he used it, I
used it during the summer. No need to store it and splitting cost made
for a very low cost enjoyable motor home. Lasted for about 5 years.

Good luck in finding that person, it can work
