G’day,

I would like to make some hard rubber gaskets to replace the o-rings that
provide the seal between the metal ends of the air bags and the fittings
that screw into them.

Tom Hampton let me cut the end out of a defective air bag but I forgot to
take one of the fittings.

To determine the thickness of the gaskets I need to know two things the
depth of the hole in the end of the air bag (which I have) and the height of
the large section of the fitting that screws into it.

The large section of the fitting must be flush with (or a bit below) than
the end of the fitting in the air bag as that contacts the bogie arm.

Could someone make a drawing of the fitting and put the dimensions on it so
I can figure out how thick I can make the gasket.

Thanks,
Rob Mueller
