One on my friends in the Great Lakers went over Saturday and looked at
the coach and here is his report.
Ref: GMC Motor Home in Port Clinton;
We finally got to see the coach yesterday. The pictures looked good
and the $10,000 asking price wasn't bad either. When the price was
dropped to $6000, - one would think-- what a deal, its worth looking
at. I agree. Here is what we found.
He had it blocked up at the wheels so it would be nice and level. One
bag had a hole in it and the other one needed replaced too. Excessive
rust every where on the frame. It was actually bent in so many places
I couldn't believe it. It was actually twisted in 3 different places.
The exhaust gaskets where blown - recovery system was missing and I
could go on and on. The inside was the Edgemonte, but in bad shape.
IMPO it is a $2k to $3K coach at best.
