NIB toys like that can fetch big money, but with the economy the way it is, he migh have wanted to hang onto it untill more people have disposable income...

Mine does! However, I can assure you that I did not pay $5000 for it! I'm
not nuts!
The small bits are still in the sealed plastic bags!
The decals are still on the original sheet.
Ken Burton has them as I write; he's trying to find someone that can copy
the sheet onto vinyl.

My eldest daughter had a Barbie GMC and just about wore the thing out she played with it so much.
We ended up donating it and some of her other toys to goodwill.
She would be thrilled to bits If I got my GMC painted the same as the toy was.
