I saw that. I don't know how smart that this, solar panels are not very structural.

Considering the limited space the GMC provides, I suppose that was the only way to go.

I also think the battery storage is limited, probably because of space limits. AnD it says 4 deep cycle batts, does the mean one is for the engine? perhaps hoping that the solar array would keep everything charged, he just uses the coach system for starting power.

so, 4 deep cycle would equal 8 golf cart batts? Where would you find space?

I think there is a delicate balance of how much power IN TOTAL you would need and be able to charge the batteries during the day and still supply power to full fill your power needs during the day and still have enough power to make it through the night.
I like playing with the numbers but the batteries seem to be a limited resource and the panels are relied on heavily to cover for them.

I would like to have his solar panel power but not ready to pay the current prices.
